Freddie and Dolly – Northern Michigan

In 2013, Beckloff Dye Fine Properties sold our home which STILL holds the record for the highest selling property closest to our asking price than any of the over dozen subsequent homes sold. BUT, the best part is knowing that we continue to be close friends even though we’re not living in CA after selling our home. We decided after 14 years that we were “homesick” and came back to Michigan for the wonderful change of seasons,particularly the Fall. Throughout our home sale process, either Mark or Dan were in constant contact w/ us; we’d tried about 3 other Agents from 2006 to 2013 when we FINALLY found THE REALTORS who did what they said they would do when they said they would do it! They fought for us and NOT for the purchaser which was also unprecedented getting us the best possible price for our lovely home that we really hated to leave behind. But, once Michigan gets in your blood, there really is “No place like home.” For getting us here, we’ll forever be indebted to Mark and Dan. We shared meals together, shared interests (All of us being dog lovers.), and it helped that we knew Mark’s Mom having met her through the Standard Poodle Club of the Desert. Luckily, one day I mentioned that we were going to sell our home, and Mom, “LuLu”, said, “Do you know my son is a Realtor? And, so the saga began of that great serendipity that ensued. Dan and Mark are the most principled Realtors we’ve ever worked with and we’ve sold over a dozen properties in our 42+ marriage. We can’t say enough about their work ethic, timely communications and kind supportive manner. It’s always stressful selling or purchasing a home. They made our experience seamless, fun and very rewarding. In the end, everyone met their goals…seller, buyer and Realtors. IF we could steal them away from sunny southern CA, we would selfishly, just to have them nearer to us in, now COLD, Michigan. They would be amazingly successful here in Michigan also; it’s impossible to stop the cream from rising to the top. Realtor experience matters, of course; but, there is absolutely no substitute for the kind of personal interaction to make a property sale with one’s Agent(s) an absolutely pleasant experience…and this was absolutely the case in our experience with Beckloff Dye Fine Properties.
